And then there were 10 for Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (or maybe 11 now if you consider the upcoming Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club TV anime series...). In a first for a Love Live! group, it was announced on August 3 that a new member was added to the newish Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.

In a plotline similar to Eli's from the first generation of Love Live! girls in Love Live! School Idol Project, initially Shioriko Mifune (who is voiced by Moeka Koizumi, Nana Daiba in Revue Starlight) was introduced as the villain to the Nijigasaki gang in the Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS mobile game, but soon learned how good being a school idol is and turned face, becoming a member of the group. Mifune is also the school council president.

In a first for the franchise, this brings the total number of official members of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club to 10, and if you look at the upcoming TV anime series and add in Yuu, there might be 11 main girls for the series. There's gotta be someone for everyone right? Though it hasn't been announced if Mifune will be added to the anime roster just yet. More details on Mifune's involvement in the group will be announced in a live stream on August 11.
